  • Policy Associate

The Policy Associate is a cross-cutting function that will support the Executive Director and collaborate with the Strategic Initiatives Manager to advance OPIC’s policy and advocacy efforts. Through strong research, writing, and analysis, the ideal candidate will identify strategic policy levers and mechanisms that allow coalition members and the broader Pacific Islander community to organize around the coalition’s focus areas in health, housing, and education at the state and local levels.

The ideal Policy Associate is a natural community organizer and can act as a bridge between technical policy knowledge and community power. Ultimately, the Policy Associate is driven by creating the policy conditions that put our community members at the forefront of our collective movement for Pacific Islander self determination in Oregon.
