Registration Open: PI Metro Student Engagement Sessions

You can’t have Pacific Islander student success without Pacific Islander student voices!

This Fall OPIC’s Advocacy Team is hosting five workshops for PI high school students in the Portland & Salem Metro areas. We believe that youth voices should be at the forefront of our education program, policies, and priorities so we’re traveling around the State to meet with all of you!

Each two-hour workshop is designed to be an interactive experience that allows the students to reflect on the challenges and develop their vision of an educational experience that serves Pacific Islander students best. At the conclusion of each workshop, a raffle will be conducted with participants, awarding one with a $50 gift card.

  • October 28, 2026: Centennial High School

  • November 17, 2026: Roosevelt High School
