Now Available: PI Immigration Response Tools
Under the Trump Administration Pacific Islander arrests, detentions, and deportations have increased. Despite this increase, our community remains invisible in systems of care. The Pacific Islander Immigration Toolkit and Preparedness Packet were developed to address the gap in basic immigration information.
The Toolkit provides baseline knowledge on Pacific Islander Immigration and Citizenship Statuses, and outlines basic practices to prepare for an interaction with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
The Preparedness Packet is a fillable form to gather important legal, medical, and financial information in the event that you or a loved one is detained. The packet aims to centralize the information legal support will require to help locate your loved one. It is never too early to be prepared. You can download the Toolkit and Preparedness Packet by clicking here.
These tools will be available in Pacific Islander languages soon. Stay updated by signing up for our newsletter or following us on social media!
